Job Description:
a) Lead the formulation, development, and optimization of new and existing products. Ensure cost-effective use of resources without compromising quality.
b) Foster a culture of continuous improvement by staying updated with advancements in personal care science and technology.
c) Oversee stability, safety, and efficacy testing of products to ensure consistent product quality.
d) Ensure that all products comply with local and international regulations.
e) Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry regulations and standards.
f) Work closely with Business Development team to understand consumer needs and preferences.
g) Collaborate with Production to ensure scalable manufacturing processes.
h) Regularly update senior management on R&D progress, challenges, and successes.
Requirements:
a) Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
b) Extensive experience in personal care or cosmetic product development.
c) Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards. (Cosmetic guidelines, Cosmetic GMP, ISO and Halal)
d) Demonstrated leadership skills and team management experience.
e) Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
f) Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
