Medical Technologist Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist Manager to lead and oversee daily laboratory operations. This role is responsible for ensuring quality control, regulatory compliance, accurate test results, and effective team management. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement in laboratory processes and maintain high professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily laboratory operations
• Lead, train, and manage a team of medical technologists
• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards, regulations, and quality control requirements
• Oversee laboratory testing procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Manage laboratory equipment, resources, and supplies
• Develop, review, and implement laboratory policies and SOPs
• Identify areas for process improvement and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• Master’s degree is an advantage
• Relevant professional certification/licensing
• Strong knowledge of laboratory medicine and quality control systems
• Leadership and team management experience preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

Experience

• Prior experience in laboratory management or supervisory roles is highly desirable
