A. Principal Duties and Tasks
- Achieve the annual budgeted sales turnover and profitability for the region.
- Drive sales growth through hardware shops, trading houses, and distribution partners in Sarawak.
- Expand product penetration by identifying new distributors and strengthening relationships with existing ones.
- The implementation of regional sales and marketing objectives for the customer groups, jointly with the EM teams and Head of Distribution.
- Execute sales activities aligned with regional targets and company objectives.
- Effectively respond to regional market conditions & customer requirements.
- Work effectively together with other team members to ensure maintenance and development of customer relationships which cross geographical boundaries.
- Record daily activities in a timely fashion within the company Salesforce database.
- Planning
- Support the Retail Manager in preparing sales forecasts and monthly reports.
- Track sales performance against budget and highlight gaps with actionable recommendations.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of distributor sales activities.
- Marketing and Sales
- Assist in implementing marketing campaigns and product launches through distributors.
- Coordinate promotional activities, trade shows and customer engagement events in Sarawak
- Provide feedback to marketing teams on campaign effectiveness and customer response.
